This month for “Cooking with the Chef” at Smith Crossing, Chef Davis Knight collaborated with our sales representative from Hershey’s Ice Cream, Brad Fahs. Brad taught our residents about the history of the company and their different flavors. He also made the residents ice cream sandwiches with David’s Cookies and Hershey’s new “Serendipity Vanilla” ice cream. The residents were also able to sample four of their best-selling flavors: Salty Caramel Truffle, Brown Butter Bourbon Truffle, Peppermint Mousse Tracks, and Strawberry Cheesecake. Our residents loved the event and it was a great opportunity for them to interact with the vendors we work so closely with to bring them the best products!
