EHM Solutions: “Catch the Cooking” in the Community


This week’s Teaching Kitchen worked with participants to teach healthy cooking techniques - grilling, steaming, roasting, and sauté.  The participants used their knife skills to prep the vegetables and even participated with chef to steam broccoli.  
Chef Travis taught them how to use household items to cook in a healthier way.  Registered Dietitian, Christina discussed the difference in purchasing frozen vs fresh vs canned produce. 
 The participants really enjoyed this hands-on cooking session!
