Congratulations to the Dining Services
department at Huron County Medical Care Facility!
By working together as team, and helping
each other to follow the Morrison "Golden Rules of Safety", they
have achieved 365 days with no workplace accident claims!
Stop, Think, Act has become a
workplace habit as they complete their daily routines. Throughout the
year, the staff has worked diligently to stay safe while at work. Proper
PPE like cut gloves, oven mitts, steamer gloves and slip resistant shoes are
worn by all. Spills are always picked up in a timely manner with wet floor
signs in place. The staff works together to have each other's backs, literally
as they help each other with heavy lifting and you can always hear
warnings being given such as "oven doors are open", "hot pans
coming through" and "wet floor" anytime you enter the kitchen. Great job team – let’s see if they can
make it to 2 years!
