Our recent Peace Village marketing event
was a success and we are quite certain that the menu had a lot to do with
it! Our guests were treated to a champagne station featuring mimosas
with melon, Chambord, and tradition orange juice. Wild berry parfaits
topped with granola and a colorful fruit platter enticed our potential
residents. Chef Jason Ison prepared poached eggs over Canadian bacon
on English muffins, which were topped with asparagus and hollandaise
sauce. A second breakfast entree of a spinach, tomato, mozzarella,
and egg casserole was also included. A perfectly seasoned BBQ shrimp
tossed in peanuts and cilantro complimented our buffet. But the show stopper
was the pork rack capped with a handmade onion ring, chive potato pancake, and
vegetable medley. And finally, the delicious dessert of de-constructed cobbler
with vanilla bean ice cream left all of our guests very happy and
very content.
