Avalon Forsythe,
Clinical Nutrition Manager at Three Crowns Park, put together an event featuring the super food of
the month: Dark Chocolate. This was a tasting of different types of dark
chocolate as fondue. We featured Belgian Dark Chocolate at 54.5% Cacao and
an Ecuadorean Extra Bitter Dark Chocolate at 64% Cacao. Executive Chef
John Barbagallo ordered the designer chocolate and provided cut fruit and pound
cake bites to be dipped in the chocolate. Over 20 residents, their guests,
and community staff attended the event.
