Lake Forest Place wanted to excite the residents on new ways to eat their avocados. Sous Chef Mel Tipton did a presentation on how to "safely" cut your avocados and then did a demo and tasting on an Avocado Smoothie.
Avocado Smoothie
- 1 ripe avocado, halved and pitted
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 8 ice cubes
Directions
- Combine the avocado, milk, yogurt, honey, and ice cubes in a blender; blend until smooth.
