A tribute to Mother’s Day
At the weekly Culinary Corner meeting held on May 9, 2012 a special tribute was held in honor of Mother’s Day. Penny, our incredible baker prepared, baked, and decorated tulip and rose shaped cookies on a stick and decorated them with her own edible glitter. She placed them in a decorative wagon. The residents that attended were so impressed they insisted she come out and speak with them. When she did the group gave her a heart-warming round of applause. Penny’s thoughtfulness helped to make the residents feel special at our meeting and her cookies are still being talked about. Thanks Penny
