Cornerstone at Episcopal Church Home



October 25th we celebrated the laying of the Cornerstone for the Episcopal Church Home. We served 550 resident, families and guest in three different venues.


The main course was Lamb Chops presented on Polenta Round with Green Beans, roasted sweet potato puree, demi and mint gel. Dessert was a Lemon Tart with Compressed Pineapple and a passion fruit sauce served with a French Macaroon. The meal started with appetizers such as duck confit with onion marmalad, Shrimp Cocktail, figs wrapped in Prosciutto topped with balsamic syrup, salmon rollette in cornets, crunchy Wheat Berry Salad, Mini Crab Cakes and Thai Spring Rolls. The First course was a Thai Papaya Salad accompanied by Crawfish and Roasted Corn Bisque. The Theme for the evening was "The King and I".
