On Thursday, September 27th Three Crowns Park
celebrated Oktoberfest, serving 60 residents a traditional German dinner. We
offered German beers to start the evening then served warm soft pretzel with
sauce for dipping. Our dinner began with a cracker and Limburger cheese (known
as the stinky German cheese) plate and salad. Our main meal was a brat &
Meatloaf with pickled cabbage, German potato salad and Apple Strudel for
dessert. Festive music was played throughout dinner, residents enjoyed
themselves and raved about the food.
