This month, we did a "Giving Thanks" bulletin board. Attached is a picture. During Showtimes, we asked our staff to speak about some of the things that they were thankful for, and discussed them, finding a variety of things that are important to individuals and how they are similar and how they are different, showing diversity among us all. Then everyone placed their turkey feathers on the board, writing down what each is thankful for.
We also have a "Got Caught Caring Program" that coincides with our Hero program. Above is a picture. We recognize those that have gone above and beyond by placing their fish on the board!
Finally, we put up a display of "Amazing Paths" and discuss the different paths that each of us take to become who we are today.
