January Diversity at Three Crowns Park

This month was a little different in that the activity was employee driven. Two employees from dining services asked to organize an event for the residents to share their Jamaican culture through traditional dance and food. They performed Bob Marley songs with vocals and guitar and displayed popular dance moves called the Bogle from the 90's and the Raging Bull from 2007 to traditional and current reggae music.

The event was followed with Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Pineapple along with Jamaican Punch. The residents as well as employees learned a lot about the Jamaican culture and were thrilled to have attended the event.
