Chef Dinner at Smith Crossing

Each month we celebrate the birthdays of our Independent residents by  hosting a four course chefs dinner prepared by our Executive Chef Rob Campbell. The meal is prepared and plated table-side. Each month the chef creates a different menu then the ones previously, as to keep the meal special for those guests. We started this addition to our dining program in January and have had nothing but great responses. 


 April’s “Birthday” Chefs dinner

1st Course
 Mixed greens with fresh strawberries, dried cranberries, candied walnuts, and crumbled blue cheese with a house made raspberry vinaigrette

2nd Course
 Grilled jumbo shrimp with a mango, pineapple and strawberry relish

3rd Course
 Braised Veal Osso Bucco served with a stuffed potato and bacon wrapped asparagus

4th Course
 A dessert duo of Crème Brule & flourless chocolate cake
