Yoga Fridays at Western Home
Wellness Coordinator Amanda Lynch has come up with a fun alternative to the Friday afternoon slump that some of us face when we are so close to the weekend. Lynch has incorporated Yoga Fridays into the mix for employees who wish to take a load off and do a little stretching before leaving work, hopefully jump starting them into a weekend full of healthy choices. Yoga is such a great opportunity to relax, stretch, and look inside oneself to hopefully let the stress of the week pass and look forward to the days ahead. Incorporating yoga is an important key to success, but Lynch has also gone one step further and showcased the Catch the Wave initiative with hydration stations at each yoga session. Speaking about hydration and it has on the muscles they are stretching is a great way to improve their yoga practice. Everyone has enjoyed their time at the end of the day with this quiet time to reflect. Looking toward the future yoga seemed to be something that will play a big part in individuals Friday plans!
