A Meat Carving to remember at the Western Home

Windhaven Assisted Living on the Western Home Communities campus had a
special treat for lunch this past Wednesday. Chef Kevin Winburn had a special
beef carving on display for residents. Residents were treated to music from the
late Frank Sinatra and many conversations filled the dining room. As the beef
was brought out you could hear the "oo's" and "ahhh's" from residents as well as
staff members. This is always a fun display for residents to enjoy. Being able
to have a great culinary experience is something that Chef Kevin as well as the
dining services team takes great pride in. The chefs at the Western Home
Communities love being able to interact with residents and their families who
come to dine at every day. Chef Kevin has said "food has played such an
important role in my life and I want to be able to share those experiences with
each of the residents we serve." Going above and beyond to serve the residents
great food and great service is something that we all strive to do more
everyday!
