We celebrated the Derby Kentucky Style, Fancy Derby Hats, Derby Pie. Derby Floats, Horse Race and to set the tone Mint Juleps. Throughout the week the staff worked with the residents to get their Derby hats ready. We even had some residents that enjoyed the sunshine while enjoying popsicles with the Dining Staff. They were sitting back, relaxing, telling stories of past experiences they enjoyed when they were younger going to the track or family derby parties. The Residents enjoy spending quantity time with the Dining Staff just to tell their stories or to talk with staff on what they did over the weekend or just to enjoy company.
