The Colors of Summer at the Western Home Communities

 

This past weekend was the annual Sturgis Falls Celebration in Cedar Falls Iowa. Members of the Dining Services team walked in the parade to support the Western Home Communities.  It was a very eventful morning as the clouds rolled in and the sky opened up to a nice downpour before the parades start.  However, as the parade progressed and the soaked crew walked the parade the rain stopped and it turned out to be a beautiful day.  Dining Services General Manager Gary McCurdy along with Amanda Lynch and Kevin Winburn enjoyed their time together walking in the parade where bubbles and crayons were handed out in honor of the theme for the year "The Colors of Summer".  Despite the rain it was a great experience and they can not wait to do it again next year in support of the residents they serve on a daily basis.
