Celebrating Rosh Hashanna at Weinberg

September 4th, 2013 marked the Jewish New Year of 5774 and our residents greeted each other with the words "Shanah Tovah" in Hebrew as their entered the dining room (which means have a good year).

They celebrated by bringing their family to our dining room, raising their glass of red wine and eating a specially prepared meal consisting of Chopped Liver, Chicken Noodle Soup, Tossed Greens with Avocado, Black Olives, Red Onion and Cucumber Salad, Chicken Kiev on White and Wild Rice with Pecans & Cranberries, Rib Eye with a Rosemary Red Wine Reduction, Boston Scrod with Mango Salsa, Potato Kugel, Honey-glazed Baby Carrots , Cauliflower, Round Challah Bread, Apple Wedges with Honey, Chocolate Mousse Cake, and last but not least Blueberries with Pineapple Cup.
