Regional Workshop at Smith Village


This October, Smith Village had the opportunity to host the regional team workshop, where directors and managers from various accounts throughout the region were invited to come and reflect on the accomplishments of the past year and work together towards a vision for the upcoming year. Chef David Somerfield and and Sous Chef Kara Superczynski created a delicious menu to include; tabbouleh salad, pita chips and red pepper hummus, falafel pita wraps, lamb and chicken kabobs, and tear drop tomatoes with cilantro and avocado. For dessert, the team enjoyed homemade smore bites, layered parfaits, caramelized apple tartans, and mini pumpkin tarts. The food was enjoyed by all at the meeting, and then by the residents that night, as we made extra desserts for them to enjoy on their dessert table that evening.
