The life enrichment team presented
an entire afternoon of events related to/or associated with Oktoberfest and
culminated with a Gastronomic tour of Germany.
Creekside members were greeted at the host stand by our own "Customs Agent" (host). At the point of entry into our dining room for our version of
Oktoberfest the customs agent stamped the date on everyone’s Passport, this
allowing the Creekside members to enter on their Gastronomic journey into
Germany.
The menu for the evening was
based on Oktoberfest delights and the pictures were of the main entree Chicken
Schnitzel, Braised Red Cabbage and homemade Spaetzel. We also served a kosher
version of Knockwurst accompanied with Sauerkraut and German potato salad,
served warm of course.
