These are photos from the International Taste Fest. Our CEO, Julie Maher and Marketing Director ,Patty Jenema at the Church of Christ attended. The Taste Fest is held every year in Grosse Pointe. Numerous vendors attend with booths depicting the country of their choice along with a food item from that country. Patty did an amazing job decorating her booth with glossy poster’s books and maps of Germany. Patty contacted the embassy and they sent her everything she would need. Our culinary department made Apple Strudel for her event.
Upon entering the expo each person receives a ticket with this they drop the ticket at the booth they most enjoyed. This is a three floor event. Julie and Patty were very excited to hear that our booth received a Bronze medal for the apple strudel. I did not even know that there was a competition when they surprised me in morning meeting with the medal.
