Diversity activity includes two superfoods at Central Baptist Village

For the September Diversity Activity.  The employees choose to feature the super foods to the residents in a fun way.  Diversity in produce is a great way for our staff and residents to enjoy the foods of the seasons.  At CBV we partnered with Midwest Foods to showcase different types of Apples they provide.
We set up a Farmers market outside one of the dining rooms so they could take and taste different types of apples.  For another showcase of a superfood  (Tomatoes) we created a salsa contest which our Executive Chef and ADDS created Salsas for the entire account to try.
The staff and residents really enjoyed these activities.  The staff is also enjoying having more input on resident activities.
