Sweet potatoes help bring wellness info and great taste to employees and residents


At the Evangelical Homes at Saline, each week the chef and registered dietitian put on a cooking demo and nutrition education session at various locations in the community.  This week we featured a turkey and Swiss flatbread with roasted red pepper aioli accompanied by sweet potato chips.  It was such a hit the line wrapped around the cafe!  While residents and associates awaited their meal, we educated on the benefits of sweet potatoes and how they could utilize the dining website/kiosk to access nutrient rich recipes and educational materials.
