Each month at Smith Crossing our executive chef, Ryan
O’Connell, hosts a Chef Chat with our residents. This month Chef Ryan brought in a variety of
cheeses, dried fruits, and nuts. He
discussed how to pair the ingredients to make a healthy appetizer or snack. He also talked about the origins of the
different cheeses and the different styles made around the world. The residents were able to sample the cheeses
and pairings, most of which were new to them.
