Chili Cook Off at Fulton Manor


Our 7th annual Fulton Manor employee Chili Cook Off was a huge hit. We had 16 entries, all unique,  which the staff sampled to vote on. The categories for awards ($25 Chili's gift cards) this year were: Best Vegetarian, Spiciest and Best overall. We also put out a complimentary buffet for the staff that the administration covers the cost of with house chili, corn bread, and assorted salads. The dietary department was well represented with 6 entries, including one made with Wild Boar. One of our cooks, Lou Paulus, took the spiciest category with his Cincinnati Chili. The award for the Best Overall, drum roll please, was won by Nancy Burns, also one of our cooks. The icing on the cake was that she won with the White Chicken Chili Webtrition Recipe that's on our Winter Menu Cycle. Our residents get that same chili every month. Over 80 ballots were submitted.
