Brecon Village Dining Services held a Simple Soup Supper. This dinner encouraged residents to choose to only order bread, salad and soup instead of the dinner menu option of BBQ spare ribs and macaroni and cheese. If they participated a $5 donation was made from Evangelical Homes of Michigan to Food Gatherers, a Food Bank in Ann Arbor, MI that feeds hungry people in Washtenaw County. We had 63 residents choose the simple dinner and donated $315.00 which equates to 945 meals for the hungry.
