The Wesleyan Village teamed up with Link-age to host a Food Fair. We had nine separate brokers and vendors bring samples of some of the products they offer. We had everything from a representative talking about the importance of pasteurized eggs, especially for seniors, to a representative giving our residents and staff information about locally sourced sustainable produce. Our residents were able to try a plethora of entrees, desserts, breakfast items, side dishes, and beverages. All of our residents really enjoyed the event and our staff got to get a taste (pun intended) of what a food show is like.
