Brecon Village held a marketing open house on Sunday 5/17 to highlight the Evangelical Homes of Michigan continuum of care. The event had a tropical flair and the food fit right in. The menu consisted of pork wonton tacos, avocado chicken salad bites, pineapple salsa with chips, hummus and plantain chips, coconut pecan bars, Kona coffee bar, and berry kale smoothies. We also had an on-display tilapia vera cruz sampling in the main dining room at lunch time as the event time ran over the lunch service. We highlighted different marketing from Morrison Community Living as well! In the wellness center Christina Weber, RD made smoothies and talked about the benefits of berries and leafy greens as superfoods. In the Country Inn, we highlighted our dining program with MyMarketing Plan materials, our dining menu, and pictures of some of our previous events. At the entrance to the dining room we highlighted our sustainability platform and buying local.
