At The Evangelical Homes of Michigan-Saline, we have our annual garden planting begin in the month of May. We have conjoined forces with the Life Enrichment department on the garden project here. Some of the plants that we have plotted are big red tomatoes, yellow tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, white Spanish onions, scallions…just to name a few!
Chef Jerry has been excited for this project and has already started all the planting and we look forward to seeing the flourishing garden during the summer months. We will be utilizing these plants once they’ve harvested by preparing special salads for the associates at the Blossom Café!
