Build Your Own Sundae at Lake Forest Place
At Lake Forest Place in our Balmoral Memory Care Unit residents had a delicious treat to cool them off in the summer heat. Chef Patrick made ice cream sundaes to order for the residents. Each resident had the option of having chocolate or vanilla ice cream (or both!), caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, sprinkles, marshmallows, crushed Oreo, pecans and of course a cherry on top! Residents from other units were welcome to attend. The activities department chipped in by taking the resident’s sundae requests and assisted in passing them out.
A fun summer activity that everyone enjoyed!
