Squash Blossoms at Lakeside

Wesleyan Senior Living's Chef Warren wowed the crowd at Lakeside Chautauqua’s  Farmer’s Market on Tuesday, as Lakeside hosts gardening enthusiasts from across the Midwest for “Lakeside in Bloom” week. 

 Chef Warren made a Squash Blossom salad with basil, tomato and ricotta cheese accompanied by a Squash Blossom stuffed with lavender, goat cheese and honey. WSL will return again for another cooking demonstration in July – these community outreach activities are sponsored by our Foundation to help promote successful aging through healthy eating and cooking techniques.
