This month's themed meal was African American Pride. The menu consisted of Sticky Beef Short Ribs, Chicken and Dumplings, Collard Greens, Confetti Fried Corn, and Home Made Mac and Cheese and for dessert a Fresh Strawberry Shortcake. The Residents got to enjoy the company of guests and other enthusiastic residents plus a featured guest. Aurora Worst, a High School Culinary student who was job shadowing Chef Trevor for the service. Aurora was interested in the Community living style of our residents and wants to become a Chef with Morrison after she earns her Culinary Degree from Grand Rapids Community College.
