Sting Rays at Smith Crossing


This month for Cooking with the Chef at Smith Crossing, Davis Knight brought in whole Sting Rays.  Some of the residents were hesitant when Chef asked them if they wanted to feel the skin, but they were up for the unique opportunity.  Chef Davis demonstrated how to filet the string ray and then pan fried the string ray so the residents were able to taste it.  As always the residents enjoyed trying something new.
