It was Michigan’s birthday on January 26th. It became part of the union in,
1837, making it 180 years old!
We decided to show case the great state of Michigan
in one of our meals this week. Rosemary Chicken Pot Pie (with Chicken
from Otto’s Chicken in Nashville Michigan), with Michigan shaped Puff
Pastry. Accompanied by Michigan Acorn squash,
and Sautéed Thyme Red Wine Mushrooms. Residents enjoyed the Chef’s
creativity and look forward to the next fun recipe the Kitchen can come
up with.
