NNM: Biryani at EHM Senior Solutions

Week 2 of National Nutrition Month was celebrated with Cauliflower Biryani, an Indian rice casserole. Just minutes after the RDs sent the weekly event email with recipes, staff were already printing and asking questions on preparing the dish!
Chef Amy Armstrong prepared the Biryani on-display at the resident's monthly Kitchen Kabinet Dining Committee Meeting. The dish featured the whole cauliflower as part of the Root to Stem theme - which is a great way to reduce food waste! For many residents and staff, it was the first time trying this delicious and flavorful dish - a great success! Can't wait until next week's events!
