Today at Dining Delights, I wanted to show our residents that it is possible to choose healthy snacks. We made oatmeal energy bites! It’s a quick and simple snack that our residents can make and keep in the fridge or freezer. I also made lemon and orange infused ice water. We talked about how the steps they can take to eating healthy and being active. We went over all the healthier substitutions that are available on our various menus that they can choose from if they don’t want our main entrees.
