Due to construction, we have "tray only" service for
our 211 residents.
On time cart delivery is by 8:30am. We
completed cart service by 8:26am.
Current Kitchen Temp. 58 degrees which is
supplemented with the toaster running and two heaters which were approved
and installed by client yesterday. Chef is boiling our water this morning through
our two induction burners to ensure the sous-vide method through this
construction will keep our timing on track for lunch service!
Lakisha Proper, MTB Hospitality
Manager prepared a Hot Chocolate Station to thank our morning crew.
After completion of lunch tray line we
will provide a Hot Lunch for both crews to enjoy! Everyday we ask how are you doing? What can we
do? We say thank you numerous times a day, respect, motivate and have
good manners for all throughout the day.
Today, we are motivated even, more - no complaints
that it's too cold.
We have to walk outside of the building to go to
our temporary space, then outside to walk back inside.
We may have a tent walkway but the snow is on
the ground, the wind is blowing in all directions. It's a bumpy walkway even
though covered by a thin outdoor carpet, you loose items off carts and have to
bend down to pick them up and going back and forth unzipping your coat to access
your badge to open the door. Everyone does it all day long. As a manager, all you can do is "be in the moment"
as their support.
We are halfway there, three more months to go!
When we ask ourselves through MCL what do we do:
We Enrich the Lives of Seniors Everyday!
At MTB not only are we proud of enriching our
seniors, we believe even though it takes time, months, even a year we reach
some individuals hopefully "Enrich Our Team"!
Sincerely,
Lanny, Chef Nate & Tina 😊
