Smith Village's Ports of Call


On Wednesday May 23rd Smith Village featured their Port of Call dinner, where each cook created their own menu item, prepared it from start to finish, and then served their dish on display in the dining room for all residents to enjoy. It is our way of introducing to the residents the culinary innovation our cooks work so hard to create here at Smith Village. The staff really takes pride in presenting their homemade dishes, and the residents really enjoy getting to know more about the culinary team and all they have to offer. This month among others, we featured homemade fruit tarts, which the resident’s truly loved as a delicate refreshing summer dessert.
