Pies of all flavors and tastes were seen as far as the eye could see this past weekend at the Western Home Communities downtown campus. The annual social was a great place for residents, staff, and community members to sit and enjoy one another's company with music and entertainment. A beautiful Sunday provided 400 people with boxed suppers, pies, and lemonade all made by the Dining Services Team. A worship service to start off the afternoon this past Sunday was great for individuals as they were able to sit outside, be outside (without the bugs!), and enjoy some delicious pie. The dining services team worked tirelessly to prepare the pies with all different flavors which really was a hit with all who attended. Residents especially enjoyed the extra effort the team went to look very festive with their red, white, and blue touches to their outfits. This is sure to be one for the memory books for all!
