We celebrated with our hourly associate senior high school students in honor of their graduation. Executive Chef Janet Nichols built the menu that evening based on the some of their favorite entrée options we serve here at Brecon Village in Saline. A buffet dinner was served to residents in honor of these students who have worked hard not only here in our kitchen, but in the class rooms as well. After everyone received their entrées, residents had the opportunity to address the group with words of wisdom and advice for the future. To show our appreciation, each graduate was presented with a gift from Hospitality Manager, Ashley Aughton, a colorful Mason jar gift personalized with their name, filled with a variety of candy, pens and bubbles. Upon receiving the gift of appreciation, each associate took the opportunity to describe their most memorable moment from senior year as well as their plans after they graduate. It was a wonderful way to commemorate these individuals and wish them well with future endeavors.
