The dining team at the Western Home Communities featured many local farms in their salad spread this past evening on the WHC south campus. The importance of local ingredients this time of the year is a very important and integral part of how the dining team operates this time of year. With many long time gardeners, as well as farmers living on the south campus, it is a great conversation piece for the dining team, and one that many residents appreciates on a day to day basis. Executive Chef Randy Husted has made it a priority for the Western Home to provide these items for residents not only to enjoy at dinner, but also to purchase as part of the Marketplace the dining team provides on a monthly basis.
