During Evangelical Homes of Sterling Heights' weekly Hospitality Huddle we featured the superfood: Baked Kale Chips. Within minutes of announcing the event, staff and residents had taken a liking to our samples, forcing us to quickly run out! The majority of the tasters had never tried Kale before, yet alone in chip-like form! The dietitians Dana Lutz and Janice Fero discussed the health benefits of dark leafy greens and ways to easily incorporate into meals. Recipes were passed out to try at home. As the event was ending, several attendees requested to serve kale chips again!
