Superfood of the Month Is A Super Hit at The Blossom Cafe


It has been an eventful month here at EVH and one of the events we had this week was in honor of the superfood of the month—whole grains! Culinary Associate, Mark Taylor, had a salad bar with the a Wild Rice and Turkey Salad with Garbanzo Beans. The salad bar included mushrooms, dried cranberries, and fresh celery served with a golden Italian dressing. In addition, we sparked up conversation about Earth Day coming up by using one of the “Diversity Crossword” puzzles as an incentive for those who answered correctly received a free water bottle! The customers enjoyed the food, the games, and learned about Earth Day and whole grains all at one stop!
