"Mm Mm Good!" -Superfood Tasting

At Evangelical Homes- Sterling Heights superfood tasting this week was an awesome one! Team members and family members definitely enjoyed our freshly made "Strawberry, Banana, Oat Smoothie" along with a bit of cinnamon and fat free yogurt to enhance the taste and aroma. Many grabbed a recipe to try at home! Even a resident's family member complimented and immediately shared the recipe over the phone! It was overall a great success and we enjoyed connecting with team members, families and residents.

Strawberry Banana Oat Smoothie
Yield: 1 , Serving Size 1 1/2 Cup
Healthy, hearty breakfast or snack in a cup

1/4 cup Dry Old Fashioned Oatmeal
1/4 cup Fat Free Plain Yogurt
1/2 each Banana
1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 cup Strawberries, Washed and Hulled
1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup Ice Cubes

Place all ingredients into a blender and
process until smooth.
Chef Notes:
Add more spices to your taste.
